Good news for Kenyan citizens who need to make or renew their passport and urgently need it to travel abroad.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has opened a new hotline for urgent processing of e-passport documents.
In a statement, the government said the new system will allow the government to better serve Kenyans by offering quick responses.
Citizens in need of urgent passport processing can now contact the government via +254796347902.
Alternatively, hotlines +254110922064 or +254110923423 can be used.

At the same time, the department can also be contacted by e-mail at info@immigration.go.ke.
"The Directorate of Immigration Services wishes to express its commitment to serve Kenyans. To fulfil this mandate, we are open to facilitate the urgent processing of passports.

Therefore, for the urgent processing of passports, please contact the Immigration Department and provide documents demonstrating urgency," the statement reads in part.
