Watamu's Mapango has caught a crab... more than one, in fact, and they are king crabs so big (600 grams each) that their carapace can fit a portion of spaghetti with its meat and cherry tomatoes, for a dish that in Watamu is more unique than rare to taste, especially cooked by an Italian chef.
All this will happen on Friday 15 September in the Lily Palm Resort's beach restaurant and beach bar, starting at 8pm.
The fantastic dinner (Kes. 3500 beverages not included) includes a fish tasting menu with an appetiser of tuna tartare with avocado and basil served on a bread crostone, and spaghetti with king crab.
