Tomorrow, Saturday 2nd October, Malindi will once again meet in the name of sharing, the exhibition of handicrafts and local production of food and all kinds of fruits of the earth, but also the creativity of those who, even in this difficult period with little satisfaction for those who work in a tourist destination, want to stay alive and offer others something.
After the closure of the Drifwood Club, for over half a century a meeting point for the community of Malindi residents and many social activities, the glorious Malindi Sea Fishing Club has taken over the legacy of the "Farmer's Market", the monthly appointment for those who want to exhibit their products but also sell second-hand objects and artefacts. 
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club on the town's seafront, in front of the Tangier Lounge, it will be possible to meet and have a drink together, wandering around the markets set up by volunteers, with the possibility of buying bread, fruit and vegetables, home-made gastronomic specialities and much more, and then possibly stopping for lunch.
Admission is free and the pleasure of being together is also free.
