The Malindi Sea Fishing Club, on the seafront in front of the Tangeri Lounge, will be organising from this month, every first Saturday, the traditional market which for many years has been a fixture of the Malindi people at the Drifwood Club which as many of you will know closed its doors for good last month.

On Saturday the 5th of June, from 10am to 1pm, the "Farmer's market" will be held with agricultural products, handicrafts, foodstuffs of all kinds and any other item you may wish to display to be sold in the pleasant atmosphere of the Malindi fishermen's club, the town's historic structure.

Like and more than Driftwood, at the Fishing Club you will also be able to sell second hand items, or for charity or even, in the car park outside the structure, you can display goods with your car, in the classic "car boot sale" manner.
