After the great success of the 2022 edition, with Italian exhibitors from all over Kenya and the presence of institutions and musical guests, the Comites Kenya has announced the "Food, Wine and more" Expo at the Village Market in Nairobi on 6 and 7 May.
There will be fifteen exhibitors showcasing Italian products and activities in the large courtyard of the Gigiri shopping centre, including restaurants, importers, producers, organisations involved in social work and other businesses that carry the name of our country high in Kenya.
Expo 2023 will be inaugurated by Italian Ambassador Roberto Natali, who will open the fair on Saturday 6 May from 11.30am together with Comites Kenya President Bruno Giachino. The opening ceremony will begin with national anthems performed by an Italian pianist and a Kenyan singing ensemble.
During the day, the diplomat will perform with his wife in a 'live cooking', preparing a gastronomic speciality of our Peninsula, and will be imitated by the owner of the Italian Cooperation office in Nairobi, Giovanni Grandi. Once again this year, the exhibition organised by the Comites is above all a moment of sharing among compatriots and at the same time an Italian showcase for tourists and residents who flock to the Village Market during the weekend.
