De Cecco pasta and burrata, friday at Karen Blixen

A Vinyasa dinner with live music in Malindi

17-08-2023 by redazione

Good news comes barefoot so as not to make noise, but you hear it smiling.
This is what our grandparents used to say. Probably the wise Mijikenda elders of Kenya also used to proffer something similar!

The good news of the week of Ferragosto, in terms of the pleasure of conviviality that combines the Italic ars of treating oneself well with the quality of food, colors the coastal resort of Malindi yellow and blue!
These are the usual colors for the town, those of the sun and the sea, but they are also the colors of De Cecco pasta, which, with the famous burratine from Andria, form an alliance to brighten the dinner of Malindian gourmets at the Karen Blixen on Friday, August 18!

De Cecco, Italy's most prestigious, best-known, most-distributed pasta has arrived in Malindi for all to enjoy, with retail, restaurants and hotels, thanks to Vinyasa.

It is no coincidence that the Italian importer in Kenya has set its sights on the best: since 1886 De Cecco has been carrying on the tradition of pasta, without compromise, improving it every day and bringing the authentic pleasure of Italian cuisine to the whole world.

Over one hundred and thirty-seven years ago, in Abruzzo, the story of a great enterprise began, one that, like any other, was made of men and passion. It is the story of De Cecco, a surname that has become synonymous with superior quality and authentic Italian taste all over the world.

Paired with it on Friday night is the burratina di Andria, a delicacy finally within everyone's reach, which arrives expressly by air from Italy every Friday from Vinyasa and is therefore always available.

The gala evening will be at Malindi's Karen Blixen, on Lamu Road, with live music and a beautiful atmosphere for an evening dripping with Italianism and tradition: a clever emotional cocktail that stimulates togetherness and jovial chatter among friends.

Because of the exclusivity of the evening, seating is limited, reservations are essential, calling tel. 0713003922
