Wednesday, January 7, will be a very special day at the Malaika Lounge Restaurant in Malindi.
The classic midweek event will feature a sumptuous Italian buffet dinner (only KES 2,500, drinks not included) accompanied by live music, followed by an Italian DJ and vintage music from the days of vinyl records.
The dinner menu, in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant on the town's seafront, includes eggplant parmigiana, ricotta and spinach ravioli, meat and ricotta and spinach cannelloni, classic lasagna, baked chicken with potatoes, fish cutlet and grilled side dishes, with tiramisu for dessert. A riot of culinary delights in a restaurant that has always showcased the best of our local culinary tradition, while not shying away from the influences of other international gastronomic cultures.
