An absolutely new evening for Malindi, with the meeting of two musicians from the modern jazz scene in Nairobi and a crew of artists and fashion bloggers in one of the most evocative places of art and culture in the city. Everything will happen next Saturday, February 29th at Shala Heart, the Yoga, Art and Wellness Centre in Casuarina, under the title "The Jazz Experience".
The protagonists will be the blind singer and guitarist Michael Ongaro, with a deep and magnetic voice that surprised and enchanted experts, experts and foreign artists in the past editions of the prestigious Safaricom Jazz Festival in the capital, and the saxophonist Dan Mugoci, an expert virtuoso of the instrument with many illustrious collaborations behind him, especially in the context of "Nu Jazz" estafricano.
