For the third monthly event of the Italian Meetings in Nairobi, the organiser of the exhibition, Freddie del Curatolo, with the contribution of the Italian Cultural Institute, will present his imaginative Kenya and recount his first 35 years in this country, through monologues, anecdotes, irony, memories and much more, in his unique style that many Italian residents and tourists already know through his writings and, more recently, his podcasts.
On the evening of 13 November, again at 6.30 p.m. and again at the Enoteca in the Muthaiga Shopping Centre, with the option of dining in the adjacent La Dolce Vita restaurant, Freddie will also be bringing his latest two books: Nairobi, la città visibile (Nairobi, the visible city) and Ti immagini l'Africa (Can you imagine Africa?).
An evening listening to Freddie is never an evening like any other... and who knows, there may be a few other surprises in store.
The formula is always the same: admission is KES 1,500, including a glass of wine and aperitif snacks. Given the limited number of places (around forty) and the success of the first two events, it is advisable to book and pay in advance.
