There are several ways to react to these unfortunate times.
It's easy to get depressed, but it's practice to roll up your sleeves and try to react.
It has been in these months both in Italy and here in Kenya.
We at malindikenya.net, although suffering from the same crisis that is affecting millions of Kenyans and in particular those linked, like us, to the tourism sector, we do not only continue to inform you, but also producing video services to show better to those who in this period can not unfortunately realize it in person, the situation particularly in Malindi and its surroundings.
This is how the ironic series "My Prisons (golden)" was born, almost as a joke making fun of those who talked about their situation in Kenya as a prison, and meanwhile they tanned on the beach or enjoyed grilled prawns.
For heaven's sake, not everyone has spent these months in Kenya like this, and we were the first.
But we find that smiling at trouble trying to make others smile too, and at the same time doing a little promotion of this fantastic place where hopefully so many of our fellow countrymen will soon return, is a good thing.
