Semi-serious kiswahili lessons: chapter 3

Today we talk about greetings (video in italian)

21-09-2021 by Freddie del Curatolo

We are now at the third episode of our weekly appointment with the language spoken in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and in regions of Burundi, Zambia, the People's Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Somalia: Kiswahili.
As the title of the strip on our YouTube channel (which we ask you to subscribe to) says, these are 'semi-serious' lessons, which do not claim to be anything professional but will certainly leave you with some extra knowledge and 'flavour' of the language.
After talking about the birth of the mother tongue of Sub-Saharan Africa and how it came to us, today we will deal with greetings and pleasantries, which are also revealing of the philosophy of the people who use such formulas and words.
"Semi-serious lessons in Swahili" airs every tuesday and the first series consists of 12 episodes.
Enjoy watching!
