Malindi inaugurates the Vinyasa supermarket in Casuarina

A new shopping point at the Sofia Complex

For the series “Malindi Revamp!”, which if it were the title of a film would be less fiction and more reality show, today we have a new, positive episode that helps boost the optimism of Malindi residents and beyond.
Tomorrow, Italian importer Vinyasa is opening a new “local” supermarket, Italian in its roots and heart but international in its vocation and modernity, in Casuarina, on the corner of Marine Park, on the road that leads to Billionaire.

On the corner is the Sofia complex, and Vinyasa has decided to equip it with a sparkling new supermarket. There is a geo-economic reason for this: for years, the area has lacked a supermarket that could satisfy the needs of local residents and those of Mayungu.
Day after day, with the arrival of Italian products and the filling of an extensive fresh food counter, the Vinyasa Supermarket will become the ideal place for everyone's needs.

Designed by Janet Nderitu of Large Investment in Malindi, who took care of every detail, it is a supermarket that is almost complete and exhaustive in terms of the needs of local consumers.

Ludovica Cipolla, Operations Director at Vinyasa, says: “We will keep our historic location opposite the airport to better serve the food service, but we wanted to open up to the retail needs of those who live in Casuarina and do not want to get caught up in the chaotic traffic of Malindi.”

A bit like the story of Mohammed and the mountain, to be clear.

The talented Gladys Ngina is the manager of the new store, and her qualities include fluent Italian and extensive experience.

Paul Taura, Vinyasa's long-standing manager, comments: “This is a further step towards a multi-channel future for Vinyasa. Importers and distributors remain the strong core of our company, and this is precisely what makes us competitive in retail.”
