First charter from Italy landed in Mombasa

NEOS airlines started the new tourism season

30-06-2022 by redazione

The first charter of the season of the company NEOS landed yesterday, via Zanzibar,, It's the only one that will fly this summer with a direct Italy-Kenya route, except precisely on the outbound leg the stopover in Zanzibar for those who decided to vacation on the Tanzanian island instead of on the Kenyan coast. The flights leave from Rome and Milan with final destination Mombasa and on the return from Mombasa directly to Italian airports.
So with the arrival of the first charters, the tourist season on the Kenyan coast officially opens. That of the sea, coral reefs, nature on the shores of the Indian Ocean. By July 20, all hotels and resorts will be open, and for some it is the real reopening after the pandemic and its aftermath.
There is great anticipation not only for the resorts overlooking the white beaches of Watamu, Malindi and Diani, but also for restaurants, boutiques and other businesses.
If the coast takes the biggest slice of compatriots even in this cool Kenyan spring (with a few healthy rains now and then), the national parks are back to being frequented by safari lovers, although for them in reality the Kenyan vacation season is never over, if it is true that since the end of June the national parks have resumed their busy schedules, after a slight decline in the previous month. Especially in the last two weeks, with the wonder of the great animal migration from the Tsavo West into Tanzania reaching a climax in August and September with the spectacle of crossings into the Maasai Mara.
The roads to the parks are in good condition and there is very little rain in the interior at this time. Just as on the coast there are alternating hours of sunshine and clear skies with brief rainfall that does not bother. the temperature as we have said is that of a late spring in Italy and the humidity tends to drop. And it will go, day by day to the best!
