Two days of promotion of Italian food and wine, companies and importers of Italian products in Nairobi. This is what has been organised by the Kenyan Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
The first edition of 'Italy Meets Kenya: wine, food and more' has been held since this morning at the Trademark Hotel in Gigiri, Nairobi, with about 24 Italian companies involved and dozens of insiders, for two days of tastings, masterclasses, b2b meetings and proposals, in a strictly by-invitation-only event that involves the promotion and marketing of our products throughout East Africa.
In addition to Kenyan food and wine retailers and businesses, experts and interested parties from Uganda, Tanzania and other Sub-Saharan African countries, as well as experts and business leaders from Italy, will also be arriving. The event will be opened this morning by the Italian Ambassador to Kenya, Roberto Natali.
