ArteOlio, gold medal for the italian EVO sold in Kenya

International award and new oil mill for oil imported by Vinyasa

19-05-2025 by redazione

The extra virgin olive oil that best represents Italian excellence, tradition, and history in Kenya (and around the world) has won one of the most important international awards of the year.

ArteOlio Prezioso, produced in the Tuscan Maremma region and imported exclusively to Kenya by Vinyasa, has been awarded the gold medal in the prestigious Olive Oil Times World Olive Oil Ranking 2025, a competition that has been evaluating over 10,000 brands from 38 countries since 2013. This award certifies the excellence of this prized extra virgin olive oil, which is also available in Kenya for restaurants, resorts, boutique hotels, and private individuals at the Malindi sales outlet opposite the airport. It is also worth noting that ArteOlio, with its extra virgin olive oil “Prezioso,” has been included in the Flos Olei 2025 guide, the international guide that reviews the excellence of extra virgin olive oil, selecting 500 companies from 56 countries around the world.

The Tuscan company has also recently opened a new oil mill in Braccagni, confirming its desire to invest more and more in the olive sector in the area, which currently covers an area of 730 hectares with 1.3 million olive trees.

The oil is produced in Maremma and marketed as Italian extra virgin olive oil all over the world. For the time being, almost all of the production is destined for foreign markets: in addition to Kenya, thanks to Vinyasa, the most important markets are the United States, China, and Japan, but also the United Arab Emirates, Madagascar, Korea, and other countries in Southeast Asia.

A modern business that starts from the farming heart of Italy and an ancient Etruscan tradition, because, as has been pointed out many times at events between Nairobi and the coast, behind every Italian product of excellence there is history, culture, and the promotion of the eco-diversity of our territories.

“We chose to plant our roots in Maremma, in the heart of Tuscany,” explain ArteOlio, ”a land rich in history and nature, where the favorable climate has made this area a perfect home for olive cultivation. Being based in Tuscany is an added value for our premium extra virgin olive oil, an ingredient of inestimable value that we want to bring to the world through the aromatic nuances and unique qualities of our product.”
