A morning of free yoga for all on the Malindi waterfront. A community initiative that includes people of all ages and nationalities, with free participation and without having to be practiced or judged by anyone.
Only the pleasure of participating in a silent and healthy sitting together in the town. Residents and tourists will gather Saturday morning, Nov. 5, at 7 a.m., for an hour-long yoga practice from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. at Buntwani Park, an initiative coordinated by Progress Welfare Association Malindi and the Kenya Association Women in Tourism.
On the island of Lamu, which has hosted the nation's largest yoga festival for the past three years, this is how it all started, by a group of passionate practitioners who proselytized. Watamu, too, has its own relaxing spots where people try their hand at this discipline-gymnastics, especially on the beach at sunrise. Why not in Malindi?
