The response of the 'Italians outside Kenya and with Kenya in their hearts' from Milan and the surrounding area to participate in the evening of Tuesday 23 May was prompt and overwhelming.

The unique and exclusive event, organised by Malindikenya.net with Karibuni Onlus, will see on stage the stories of director Freddie del Curatolo set to music by his lifelong Kenyan adventures partner, Marco 'Sbringo' Bigi. The two will present the album 'Once upon a time there were Italians in Kenya' on Italian soil, with some of the songs from the album, which will be on sale for those who have not yet purchased it (it can also be received online, for information write to info@malindikenya.net). Part of the proceeds of the album, as well as the proceeds of the evening, whose entrance fee is a minimum of €10, are donated to Karibuni's food support project for the students of Langobaya, in the poorest and most drought-stricken hinterland of the Kenyan coast.
