We have been thinking for more than a year about how to link our record to a social project.
It is only right that the work created during the studio pandemic, which gathers together the best of our songwriting production of ten years of shows about Italians in Kenya, should also have a purpose, because we certainly do not think we will get rich by selling copies to our friends, readers, listeners, 'followers' and all the compatriots who we know will enjoy listening to it. 
In the meantime, however, what had already been a worrying drought for three years has turned into the most dramatic food emergency in Kenya for 70 years, and we could not, albeit in our own small way, stand by and watch.
So we decided that part of the album's proceeds, net of the expenses incurred in producing it, printing copies and promoting it, will be allocated to the food support project that the Italian non-profit organisation Karibuni has been running for some time now in schools in the hinterland of Malindi and Watamu, more precisely in Langobaya. So, buying this album, both online (all informations writing to info@malindikenya.net) and in CD format (available from 15 December) will not only do your spirit good, but will also help to help people in difficulty and make many children go to school, with the idea that studying can be salvation, today because it gives a meal where the family is tragically lacking, and because it offers a future to those who one day may have a job to feed their family, without necessarily waiting for a hand from the generosity of others.
